Our collaborator extrodinaire, Neal Evenhuis, has just published some new species of Hawaiian Campsicnemus, one of which is named after Gordon!

Gordon's revision of the Nesophrosyne specializing on Broussatia arguta has just been accepted in Zootaxa. Congratulations! Here's the link: http://www.mapress.com/zootaxa/2011/f/zt02805p025.pdf
The latest issue of MPE is out and it includes TWO papers from the lab. One is a comprehensive phylogeny of the Hawaiian Drosophila, complete with an analyses of the evolution of host plant preference. This paper includes the work of three undergraduate researchers in the lab - Elaine Owen, Jackline Lasola and Yifei Wu. The other is a phylogeny of the spoon tarsus species group and a major component of Rick's dissertation. Congratulations to Rick and to Alex Gidaya, his undergraduate coauthor!
I've finally updated the lab's web page, including a newer, sleeker look, better interface and updated profiles of all members! We've also purchased a new domain name, drosophilaevolution.com, so we're no longer on Berkeley's nature server.
